双语鉴赏 | 红色潇湘，薪火相传：雷锋故居

雷锋故居位于湖南省长沙市望城区。1940年12月18日，雷锋出生在这里，并在此度过了他苦难的童年。雷锋故居始建于清朝宣统年间，原为地主给佃户建的庄屋，现保存的三间茅草屋是新中国成立后党和人民政府分给雷锋的房屋。

Lei Feng's former residence is located in Wangcheng District, Changsha city, Hunan Province. Lei Feng was born here on December 18, 1940, where he spent his miserable childhood. The residence was firstly built during the reign of Emperor Xuantong in the Qing dynasty. It used to be a house for peasants. However, today's thatched hut was distributed to Lei Feng by the Party and government after liberation.

贫困的家庭环境与坎坷的童年经历孕育了伟大的雷锋精神。雷锋生前在日记里写道：“我就是长着一个心眼，我一心向着党，向着社会主义，向着共产主义。”正因为拥有崇高理想和坚定信念，雷锋把平凡的工作与党和国家的利益紧密结合在一起，无怨无悔地奉献自己的所有。

The great Lei Feng spirit is attributed to the poor family as well as his bumpy childhood experiences. Once, Lei Feng wrote in his diary that he would believe in the Communist Party of China, socialism and communism with all his heart. It was his lofty ideals and convictions that enabled him to closely combine his ordinary work with the interests of the Party and the country, and to devote himself to the country.
